Festivals are for everyone, even those trying to lose weight. Instead of dampening the festive spirit by depriving yourself of delicious foods, you can plan your weight loss goal before Diwali. You know very well that during Diwali week you will gain at least 2-3 kgs weight. So, why not plan it 8 days before Diwali and lose an extra 2-3 kgs.

Intermittent Fasting – Pre-Diwali Diet Plan for Weight Loss:
Start your day with detox water, empty stomach. Drink 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Water or Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Tea.
Detox water will detoxify your body and will help to naturally reduce inflammation, boost energy, support digestion, and promote healthy skin.
Detox Drinks for Weight Loss (have anyone):
Morning Breakfast – You’re First Meal of the day. Have 1 bowl of Makhana Porridge or 2 Besan Dosa with green chutney or tomato chutney.
Breakfast Recipe for Weight Loss:
Along with this, you can drink Green Tea or Milky Tea with no sugar or very little sugar.
The first meal will make you full for a longer time.
3 hours after your first meal – Only if you’re hungry then, have 1 glass thin buttermilk or 1 sweet lime.
Lunch – In-between the first & the last meal (around 2 pm), If you feel hungry then have 2 Besan Dosa or 2 Besan Chilla with Dal or any vegetable recipe and salad/raita.
More Lunch Recipes (have anyone):
Evening Tea (optional) – Drink 1 cup ,Green Tea / Milky Tea with Less Sugar / No Sugar. If hungry, then have Roasted Makhana / Chana – 1 small kathori.

Dinner – Last Meal of the Day – Have 1 bowl of Moong Dal Soup.
Dinner Recipes for Weight Loss (have anyone):
In between the meals, if you feel hungry, then eat Cucumber or Berries, or Plum. Drink detox water, minimum 2 liters per day. Sleep adequately and avoid sugar & junk food.
For the best result along with this diet, do regular physical exercise, minimum 45 min-1 hours like Gym/Cycling/Swimming/Yoga.
No one plan will suit everyone. Ultimately, each person should work out their own meal plan with help from a doctor or dietician.
