Planning to detox after Diwali? A detox diet doesn’t only mean losing weight, it means getting your body back on track and flushing out toxins.
Most people confuse detoxification with weight loss. But the truth is you may or may not lose weight while detoxifying the body. A detox plan is usually to get your system clean of all unhealthy eating and drinking. It’s about flushing out toxins & impurities and not losing weight.
While detoxifying, you need proper nutrition. You need to eat healthy to rev up your metabolism to burn extra calories. Therefore, eating right and healthy is a must than starving yourself.
Intermittent fasting helps you eat fewer calories while boosting metabolism slightly. It is a very effective tool to lose weight and belly fat.
Diwali Detox Diet for Weight Loss:
Start your day with detox water on an empty stomach. Drink 1 cup magical detox tea.
Detox water will detoxify your body and will help to naturally reduce inflammation, boost energy, support digestion, and promote healthy skin.
Detox Drinks for Weight Loss (Have anyone):
Smoothies for Weight Loss:
The first meal will make you full for a longer time.
3 hours after your first meal – if you’re hungry then, have 1 glass of thin buttermilk or 5 Almonds with 1 Walnut or 1 Sweet lime.
Lunch Recipes (Have anyone):
Evening Tea (optional) – Drink 1 cup of ,Green Tea / Milky Tea with Less Sugar / No Sugar. If hungry, then have Roasted Chana – 1 small kathori.
Dinner – Last Meal of the Day – If you had Masala oats in lunch, then have 1 bowl of Makhana Chaat / Kurmura Chaat, Or if you had Makhana Chaat / Kurmura Chaat in lunch, then have Masala Oats in dinner.
At Bedtime, drink 1 glass of Triphala Detox Water.
In between the meals, if you feel hungry, then eat Cucumber or Berries, or Plum. Drink detox water, minimum 2 liters per day. Sleep adequately and avoid sugar & junk food.
For the best result along with this diet, do regular physical exercise, minimum 45 min-1 hours like Gym/Cycling/Swimming/Yoga.
